EU project for Sendong victims

The EU approved various projects for Sendong victims in amount of P180 million. These projects were approved through European commission and various other department of EU. These victims are channeled through organizations. This organization includes International Societies, children save societies and other local organization. On Wednesday Mr. Ledoux presented himself at Lumbia relocation and on this day he expressed his opinion about relief activity that he is glad to see that dreams are becoming true and things are going in proper way.

He added that they are able to shift people quickly though it takes reasonable time to getting all heavy equipment. EU envoy said that they want to improve condition at risk areas which are influence by natural disasters. The EU is connected with various disaster preparedness projects in all area of country. They do activity which give warning at early stage of any natural disaster.  Mr. Ledoux also give information about disaster preparedness project in Philippines, which has wroth of P399 million. He advised that to minimize the effect of natural disasters typhoon Sendong condition can have great importance of disaster preparedness.

He added that from World Bank result it is concluded that four to six person will save in disaster preparedness.  The deputy head of the Spanish Embassy said that her government is going to be giving more importance to accept future challenges from natural disaster. She added that we are shocked from this natural disaster in other part of world. A great amount is granted by Spanish Agency for aid of Sendong victims.
